Nicolette Bencito

Nicolette Bencito is an Associate at Redwood Public Law, where she represents cities, counties, and public agencies throughout California. Prior to joining Redwood Public Law, Nicolette represented and defended clients in matters involving labor and employment, complex healthcare litigation, general liability, and tort matters. Nicolette graduated from the University of San Francisco, School of Law (USF), with a specialized certificate in Labor & Employment Law.

While at USF, Nicolette received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research, Writing and Analysis and served as a Senior Editor for USF’s Law Review. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Wilson at the Santa Clara County Superior Court in Palo Alto and was a student clinician for USF’s Immigration Policy Clinic. Nicolette was also a judicial extern for the Pro Se Department at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. She was also a student member of the Earl Warren American Inn of Court. Prior to law school, Nicolette received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, where she was a nationally competitive policy debater with the CSUF Forensics Team.

Nicolette is an active member of the Bay Area legal community and currently serves as Secretary for the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (FBANC). She is also a board member for Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom (BALIF) and serves on the New Lawyers Committee and DEI Committee.

In her spare time, Nicolette enjoys backpacking, exploring local arts and crafts fairs, and arranging charcuterie spreads.
