Devin, a litigator, represents cities, school districts, and other public-sector clients in state and federal courts. He offers clients a diverse litigation background and commitment to the public interest forged across roles as a Deputy Solicitor General, Deputy Attorney General, commercial litigator, and federal judicial law clerk.

Prior to joining Redwood Public Law, Devin served in the Nevada Attorney General's Office, where he represented the Nevada Secretary of State in election disputes before the Nevada Supreme Court and U.S. Supreme Court, and counseled agencies on statutory interpretation, open-meeting laws, and public records compliance. He also defended the State of Nevada against federal regulatory overreach and ensured access to federal funding in multistate litigations across the country.

Devin has also worked in private practice as a commercial litigation associate, drafting pleadings, motions, and writ petitions in civil fraud, real property, and business tort matters. Before entering private practice, Devin clerked for former Chief Judge Miranda Du of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.

Devin's pre-law training and work experience in urban planning also equips him to advise public-sector clients on land-use decisions and ordinance drafting.

When not lawyering, Devin enjoys DJing (with a focus on disco and house music), gardening, exploring Lake Tahoe and the Sierras, and bodybuilding.
